About Rebecca Stevenson:
Rebecca Stevenson is an artist living and working in London. She is best known for her visceral and baroque sculpture in resin and wax.
She graduated from Chelsea College of Art & Design in 1998 and the Royal College of Art in 2000. Her solo shows include ‘Fantasia’ at Kudlek van der Grinten in Cologne, ‘Innocents’ and ‘Carniflora’ at Mogadishni in Copenhagen, and ‘Exquisite Corpse’ at DomoBaal in London.
Recent exhibitions include: “Queensize” at ME Collectors Room/Olbricht Foundation Berlin, (with Louise Bourgeois, Nathalie Djurberg, Marlene Dumas, Elizabeth Peyton, Cindy Sherman, Carolein Smit and others) and ‘Lo Spirito del Lago’ in Stresa, Italy, (with Margret Eicher, Peter Gilles, Birgit Kahle, Gereon Krebber, Simon Schubert and others)
Rebecca Stevenson’s works are held in the Olbricht Collection, the Maramotti Collection, and the collection of Paul and Alison Myners, as well as in numerous private collections internationally.
